This is an umbrella policy covering most comprehensively various types of risks that a civil contract may be exposed to. The policy covers different types of civil contracts like buildings, roads, bridges, etc. The policy may also cover contractor’s plant and machinery as well as third party liability.
Sum Insured

For the contract works the sum insured is based on the Estimated Contract Value.
For contractor’s plant &machinery the sum insured is the market value of the concerned plant and
machinery.
A limit has to be opted for third party.
